Vyāsa-pūjā 2024

Ādi Gaurasundara dāsa (Unsorted - India)

Dear Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my respectful obeisances. All glories to You! All glories to Śrīla A.C. Bhaktivendanta Swami Prabhupāda! All glories to your auspicious appearance day!

The past year has been turbulent in my life with changes in spiritual authority and service. However, what kept me stable is your instructions and personal example. You gave me and my family time to meet even when you were sick and recovering. We also had the opportunity to wash your lotus feet. For this I am ever grateful. My goal would be to keep your instructions close to my heart and abide by them for the rest of my life. During our meeting you mentioned how you have different kinds of disciples and that you need to take them along. You have an example of a nun in south America who is practicing Kṛṣṇa consciousness. My learning from this was that if you as a guru are willing to take along anyone who is remotely interested in the path of bhakti then we as disciples should certainly aspire to encourage and inspire each other to continue serving the mission of Lord Caitanya.

Your servant,

Ādi Gaurasundara Dāsa
